Training Solutions LLC is a Wisconsin based company that is dedicated to quality emergency response training at a reasonable cost.
Our veteran instructors are experts in firefighting, hazardous materials response, weapons of mass destruction, and emergency management.
Past clients include: Wisconsin Emergency Managment, Wisconsin Air National Guard, Wisconsin Technical College System, New Glarus Fire Department, Stoughton Fire Department, Watertown Fire Department,Mazomainie Fire Department, Portage Hospital, New Glarus Hospital, Boscobel Hospital and Kraft Foods/Oscar Meyer.

Doug Rohn
Doug Rohn has been an emergency responder for 35 years serving with the Madison Fire Department (ret) serving as a Training Officer, Hazmat Team Coordinator, and Company Officer. Doug is currently Assistant Chief of Prevention for the Verona Fire Department. Doug has taught with Madison College, Blackhawk Technical College, AAR/SERTC/TTCI, Illinois Fire Service Institute, REACT of Wisconsin, and the Penta Consortium. Doug is a current board member and Past-President of the Wisconsin Association of Hazardous Materials Responders (www.wahmr.com). Doug is the founder of Training Solutions LLC, which is a provider of quality hazardous materials response training.
Jim Schmitt
Jim Schmitt has been involved with hazardous materials response for 20 years. Jim is a firefighter/hazmat specialist with the Madison Fire Department. Jim has over 20 years of instructional experience. He specializes in Industrial, Hospital, and Decontamination training. Jim is a longtime member of the Wisconsin Association of Hazardous Materials Responders, serving as the go-to guy when things need to get done.
Joe Bartholomew
Joe Bartholomew is a 39 year veteran instructor from the Aurora Fire Department (ret) having served as an Medic, Arson Investigator, Diver, Hazmat Coordinator, and Company Officer. Joe has taught with the Illinois Fire Service Institute, IAFF, AAR/SERTC/TTCI, Nicolet College, and the Penta Consortium. Joe is a co-founder and Past President of the Illinois Association of Hazardous Materials Responders Technicians and Specialists, and is a current board member of the Wisconsin Association of Hazardous Materials Responders. Joe joined Training Solutions LLC in 2016 as a principle instructor.
Kevin Alajoki
Kevin Alajoki is a seasoned firefighter/paramedic/officer, with over 28 years of fire service including 24 years with Ashland Fire Department and 18 years in the role of company officer. He successfully manages and implements the State of Wisconsin annual hazmat budget for his department, which includes funding for personnel, training and equipment. Kevin is an experienced grant writer. Kevin is a motivated shift leader with strong organization and prioritization skills, who focuses on mentoring others.
